Having a tough time with ELL students demonstrating their knowledge of a subject area? Stop motion animation projects can be used across the content areas as ELL students create projects to demonstrate they understand or have mastered the concepts being taught. Creating a stop motion animation is an exciting way to engage all students in collaborative learning. They will need to write, use their math skills, oral skills and people skills (how do you to react when someone accidentally sits on your carefully crafted Erythrocyte (red blood cell) or gets a big grey thumb in the picture frame? ) Cut! Take two!
