Learn how to design STEAM (or any) lessons using Spark, Challenge, Information, Application. Why not flip your lesson and give the students something that will spark their interest? Issue a challenge, and let them go. THEN, give information when they find they have a need for it. Finally, they are ready to apply what they have learned.
