I began my career in 2002 as a middle school English and history teacher. In 2011 I began working as a Instructional and Literacy coach at the middle school where I developed and supported a Project Based Learning pilot in the 8th grade. Additionally I co-facilitated all district-wide Project Based Learning professional developments. In 2016 I became the Personalized Learning and Project Based Learning Program Manager for New Haven Unified School District where I supported all sites in implementing a variety of Personalized Learning practices. I also co-planned and co-facilitated a three-day district-wide Personalized Learning Summit. Now I am working as an Assistant Principal at Delaine Eastin Elementary where we have a PL pilot in 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade. Additionally our site focus is around using small and whole group instructional practices to personalize instruction for all of our students.
